Driver’s Requirements, Rule & Regulations


The minimum age to rent with OnTrack is 21 years of age and held license for a minimum of 1 year. If between the ages is below 21 and above 65 then additional charges may apply.

All drivers (including any additional drivers) have to be in possession / have held a “valid” driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months.

For Foreigners

  • - Need to submit Passport Copy
  • - Credit card for verification purpose
  • - Need to show Myanmar driving license and a copy of Myanmar’s driving license
  • - One person as Guarantor and a copy his NRC details and to sign on the behalf of renter


As a Company

  • - A copy of Form 6-26
  • - Letter head with board members to rent this car
  • - Contract with the Manager
  • - One person to sign on the behalf of company

All rentals are charged based on a 24 hour billing period. Only when a rental exceeds a cycle of 24 hours will any additional day(s) charge apply.

OnTrack provides all customers an hour grace period from the time the vehicle was picked which and is shown on your rental agreement. Charges will be incurred if the return time is to fall outside that hour grace period.

OnTrackoperates on a strict non-smoking policy in all of our vehicles. We will enforce a special cleaning charge to the renter if a returned vehicle requires special treatment to remove any evidence of smoking.

This optional insurance may be covered by your life or holiday insurance (please check before you travel or pick up car). Insurance together with our car rental upon request but only for travelling within certain miles range. Please check again upon booking.

The renter of the vehicle is solely responsible for any traffic offense fines and related administration fees incurred during their rental period.

Yes, but the additional driver must be listed on the rental contract.

Our core weekend prices start from 12:00 on Friday to 09:00 on the following Monday.

OnTrack offers one-way rentals between select locations, and a one-way fee may apply. Please see the respective terms of rental for full details.

No, at the time of booking the drivers name must be provided along with their NRC card used for payment. The name listed on the listed NRC car used must also match the driver’s name.

We provide all rental with a full tank of fuel, therefore it must be return with a full tank of fuel to avoid additional charges as specified on the rental contract. Sometime it could not be full tank so we advise you to check the fuel gauge, when picking up our rental vehicle and it must be return the way it was upon pick up.

OnTrack provides the relevant contact details on the rental agreement provided to you upon pickup. 
You must contact via that number in case of breakdown or accident.

To request an extension, please call our customer service if we could extend. In case of not availability of extension. We accept no responsibility for and shall not be liable in respect of any of your direct or indirect losses. In case of doubt or distrust with our vehicle, we will detain (take back) our vehicle.

Rates can fluctuate at any time, but rates for booked reservations will not change unless the renter requests the booking be amended.

No, once you have a confirmed reservation the price will not change unless you, as the renter, have requested the booking to be amended.

Our available locations are subject to location surcharge, but this does not apply to all locations.

A pay-on-arrival reservation does not require full payment until the pickup of the rental vehicle. These reservations advance payment tend to cost smaller than full payment so you can assure your vehicle available upon your arrival.

A pre-paid reservation requires full payment for your rental upon booking, regardless of whether you confirmed your booking: online (via our website), through a third party/ Agency (paid to the Agency) or with our Reservations team on the telephone. If you cancel a prepaid booking, a cancellation fee will apply and this could be up to the full cost of your rental.

Amendments, Cancellation & Extensions

If you have booked a prepaid reservation you will be charged a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will be applied and this fees could be up to your full prepaid reservation amount.
 For Pay-on-arrival (flexible) reservation, we will not be responsible for our vehicle availability.

Cancellations can be made at any point prior to the start of the rental. 
Please note if a “pre-paid” reservation is not cancelled prior to the start of the rental, and the vehicle was not collected (no-show), the rental amount will still be charged to the customer in full. 

Amendments or cancellations can be made via our Manage your Booking or by e-mailing our team.

Amendments can be made to “pre-paid” reservations up to 48 hours prior to the start of the rental (subject to availability) at a fees of $25.  
Please note all amendments are subject to availability and current pricing.

Pre-paid amendments must be made at least 48 hours prior to the start of rental. Amendments to pay-on-arrival bookings can be made at any time prior to the start of the rental additional charges apply.

Membership Program


Yes, OnTrack operates with a bonus/loyalty scheme, whereby we issue membership card to every customer starting from first booking.

A membership card will be automatically sent out to you, after completion of your first rental.

They can be used for always every time you hire with us.

A Cards is free of charge and very easy to use.


The benefit for you as the customer is that we will have your relevant details on record, which will enable us to speed up the checking in process at the start of your rental, meaning:

-Less rental formalities, as your personal data is stored behind the card.
-Minimal waiting time at the arrival location and easy payment.
-The membership card offer discounts up to 10%.

Car Rental Insurance Policy


Unless stated on the rental, coverage is not included.

Normally there is no coverage. But OnTrack offers Personal Accident Protection (PAI) which would cover within certain range (usually within 100 miles) of travelling during the rental period including driver and passengers while they are in the rental vehicle. Certain exclusions apply. Please see our terms and conditions for further details.

A young driver surcharge applies for drivers under 21 years and it varies surcharge depends on the chosen car category for the rental. The customer can check the final surcharge amount after providing the driver's birth date in the last step of the booking funnel.

All additional drivers need to be added on the rental agreement (RA), so they can benefit from all coverages purchased at OnTrack. A charge for second/additional drivers will apply. Certain exclusions apply. Please see our terms and conditions for further details.

If there is new damage that has occurred on the vehicle, this will be noted when the vehicle is returned and you will be charged the applicable cost of repair. If you have experienced an accident and the rental vehicle is no longer drivable, please contact our Roadside Assistance Team.

Our Damage department will contact you as soon as they can to advise you of the details.

Yes, it is permitted to use your personal auto coverage for a rental vehicle.  Each policy is different and it is best to contact your carrier to ensure you are covered for the type of vehicle you are renting.

Payment Methods, Deposits & Approvals

Yes, we offer prepaid rates as well as pay-on-arrival (flexible) rates. Fees do apply upon cancellation and amendment of prepaid reservations. Also, the name on the card used to pay must match the name on the reservation.

You can cancel your reservation either by logging onto ‘OnTrack” or contacting our reservation team.

In order to use a company card the name listed on the method of payment must match that of the primary renter listed on the reservation and rental agreement. We also accept in cheque voucher.

In general, NRC card authorization with a minimum of $100 plus the amount due for the rental will be taken as an authorization for security purposes. The authorization will be higher for specialty vehicles.

It will be available immediately after a clarity check of our renal vehicle. In some cases, we may take longer. 


Car Rental Damages & Claims


Upon you are return of vehicle, we will do necessary checking and once everything find good condition, we will refund your excess monies.

Sometimes it could happened that we may didn’t note some damage after your return. It is normal practice to notify you within 2-5 working days. However, delays can occur over busy periods and Bank Holidays (BH’s). So in that cases you may have to corporate with us.

What to do in the event of an accident is shown on your Rental Contract.

- Stay calm and make sure to stay out of harm’s way.
- Contact police to obtain a police report. Dial 199.
- Obtain information on all parties involved in the accident.
- Take photos of surrounding area, intersection and vehicles involved. Use caution when taking photos.
- Complete damage report with as much information as possible.
- If vehicle is not drivable, please contact Our Roadside Team.

Please contact the local police authorities to report the incident. Once you are done with the police, please call us. If our vehicle is drivable and safe to operate, you may continue in the vehicle until the end of your rental period. If our vehicle is not drivable, please call our Roadside Team.

No, any damage to the glass and or tires is of the responsibility of the renter.

If you experience any mechanical or damage issue with your rental vehicle during the rental period, please contact our Roadside Team.

Our vehicles should always be checked by our experienced Agents, however, oversights can happen. For our Terms and Conditions, it is the responsibility of the renter to inspect the vehicle for damage before leaving the rental facility.  If damage is discovered, return to our office and notify us of the damage.

No, our vehicles cannot be repaired by renters. We have our own authorized repair facilities

Normally, stickers are placed on to the fuel doors and or caps, to advise you of the fuel type. However, if this is not the case on your rental vehicle, please call us before re-fuelling. If you believe you have re-fuelled the vehicle incorrectly, do not drive the vehicle, as this is likely to cause further damage, creating a greater cost to rectify.  Please  be aware that the incorrect re-fuelling of our vehicles is excluded from your loss damage waiver, and the full amount will be charged to you.

Yes, all damage claims are subject to a reasonable Administration Fee.  The Administration Fee applied to each damage claim is determined by the invoice amount (these may be subject to change at times of our review).

Our Vehicles Information


No, all our vehicle are smoke free.

Yes, pets are allowed in our vehicles, provided the seats are covered, or the animal is kept in a cage/carrier. Please be aware a vehicle cleaning fee may be applied should the vehicle return soiled.

Territorial restrictions apply depending on the State the rental takes place. For further information please contact our customer service.  

No – Due to various reasons we are unable to guarantee a specific make and model, however we will be happy to accept requests for any particular preference you may have (this is not guaranteed).

The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full, otherwise our current refueling charges will apply.
